Hi Everyone,
I’m very excited to have a blog to be able to communicate with all of you. It is so very important to have a mechanism to reach out to the fine people of our riding and certainly the technology gives us that vehicle.
I was at the Liberal Party AGM in Huntsville on the weekend and had an opportunity to talk with Stephane Dion and be part of a media scrum. He is such a fine lieader and spoke so passionately about Canada and his vision for economic prosperity, environmental sustainability and social justice. M. Dion received a number of standing ovations at the meeting.
Then Ken Dryden talked some more about the Liberal “30-50″ plan to reduce poverty in 5 years. He got a standing ovation from the 800 people in attendance.
This is the caring and compassionate Canada that I know and love. I want my Canada back and I am working hard to hear from everyone just how we can do this together.
